Native audio check

This separate page tests ordinary browser audio controls without the app’s playback controller. Nothing starts automatically. Start at a comfortable volume and tap each player’s own play control, one at a time.

1. Google speech

Fixed English sentence (35 characters): This is a short English audio test.

Playing this test or opening its link sends this fixed sentence to Google’s experimental, unofficial speech endpoint. No practice text is used.

2. Same-site tone

A quiet, one-second generated tone, served by this preview. No Google audio was downloaded or copied.

Report whether Google speech and the tone each play, plus whether the direct Google link plays. If only the direct link works, this narrows the problem to embedded playback; it does not identify a server response or prove a particular cause.
